Throwback to March

Side note- You're going to be seeing some REALLY old pictures. We're talking almost a whole year's worth of holidays.

Can you tell what holiday this is?
We had a lot of GREEN that day. We had green pancakes for breakfast. And then for dinner we had Corned Beef (new recipe this year-DELICIOUS!) potatoes, carrots, cabbage and rolls. It was VERY good. And of course, Lime Kool-aid.

For some background info. Last year Maddi came home from Kindergarten and sat by the window for at least a half an hour until I asked her what she was doing. She said she was waiting for the Leprechauns to come. I asked her what she meant and she said if you were a good girl, the leprechauns would come leave you some gold on your doorstep with a treat. I asked her where she heard that and she was like "uh, everyone knows that?" She was so convinced they were going to be coming and waited for SO long for them to come. I finally called Jesse, who was on his way home, and asked him if he could uh "talk to some leprechauns and see if they were coming, wink wink" a short time later they showed up on the doorstep with a pot of gold and two treats.
The Leprechauns remembered to come this year too:
This is what happens when you ask your son to get his own pjs on and he finds the only pair that is WAY to small.

Gold Coins, green jelly beans, and Sugar cookie mix! Leprechauns rock!

That is such a cute idea!
We always set leprechaun traps -- see, if you catch one they have to grant you 3 wishes (from the movie Darby O'Gill & the Little People).
HOWEVER,
ever since, Andrea has OBSESSED about the leprechauns, what she wants for her wishes, wants to invite them over for a tea party, etc. Seriously. It is a daily topic!
