More Birthday Pictures

Happy Birthday Maddi!

Here's a few pictures of her birthday. This is her little pre-birthday bash we had on the Friday before. She picked out the crown herself.

We were working on getting her to hold up 3 finger. If you look close the ring
finger is barely up!

UBER excited!

Well a lot has happened in the last few days. Maddi is feeling better but now Andrew has the same thing she had, so we're watching him closely. We moved a bunch more of our stuff with Spencer, Alisha (is that how you spell your name? sorry!) and Mandy's help. And we could never have done it without Brian's truck (THANKS Brian! BTW how was the GRE?) I would say we're about 2/3 the way done. It's now just getting a bunch of things that we don't use very often.

The other exciting news is that we finally found an investment property! It's in Pleasant Grove and it's absolutely perfect. The guy was desperate to sell and so that made it even more perfect! It has a mother in law apt in the basement (I know...but we just can't get away from it) and new paint, new carpet, etc etc. So we don't have to do a thing to it.

So yes we are pretty excited.
And yes, I will be posting Maddi birthday pictures soon!

Let's see..what HASN'T happened this week?

Well for those of you who didn't know, we moved last Saturday to a house Jesse's parent's own. We're still getting settled and it's been a little hard having half of our stuff at our house and half at the new place. So needless to say we've been making a lot of little trips to try and get little things we need. We're getting there slowly but surely.
Maddi's birthday was on Sun and we went up to Bountiful for a little Father's Day/Birthday celebration. It was fun and Maddi had a good time eating cake, jumping on the tramp, and swinging on the hammock.
Things started to turn though on Tues. The kids had had a cold since the Sat before, but Andrew was up all night coughing and so I called the Dr to see what I could give him. They thought it might be the croup and to bring him in for a shot. I brought him in but apparently it's not the croup. It's Reactive Airway Disease (RAD). We alway knew Andrew was rad but I guess we didn't know how much ;). But what that means is that he has baby asthma and that it may possibly develop into adult asthma later on. So he now has an inhaler and it taking oral steroids. It's not very fun, but we're learning to deal with it.
After we got home from the Dr, Maddi was acting pretty weird and then she threw up. She threw up so many times I lost count. She hasn't kept anything down since Tues night and it's now Thurs. But she did eat applesauce this morning, threw it up and then asked for more. So that's a step in the right direction, right?
Well it's a barrel of fun over at our house. Can't wait to see what happens next, right? I'm just hoping someone doesn't break an arm or something!
I'll post some Pictures of Maddi's birthday when I get a chance!

Check This Out!

This is one of the most amazing things I have ever seen! I saw it on the news and so I went and looked at the performance on youtube. It's amazing, he sings one of my favorite songs ever. I literally cried!

DISNEYLAND!!!!

We had so much fun at Disneyland!! Here are a few pictures. We stayed at a house that was literally a block away. We went in the morning came home for lunch and naps and then the "Adults" would go do the big rides while the kiddies had Nana and Papa time. It was great! The pool was fun and we played Dance Dance Revolution. We also stayed in Vegas on the way there with Becky and Jared. Nothing like Prime Rib for Breakfast. And we stayed in the same hotel on the way back and everyone came with us! It was fun. The kids did well with the long ride....most of the time. And Andrew is a great swimmer. Good times!! We're exhausted but it was worth it!
