Halloween!

It seemed this year that we dressed up no less than 25 times. It's NO exaggeration...... ok maybe a little. But we went to LOTS of parties, it was really fun.

Here are some of the pictures:

We BARELY made it to the Halloween Parade on time! It was at nine in the morning and I got there right at nine. (Look it takes a long time to load both babies, unload and set up the double stroller, and then strap babies in) When I walked in, it was PACKED.
Mental note for next year, yet there early.

Here's my little lady bug in the parade!
Here's the babies and Andrew hangin out.
On Saturday Morning we had our pictures taken by one Julie Taggart. You can see them here. Afterwards we came back to my house to have some sloppy joes. And yes, those are skulls as our centerpiece. The kids then went to the Parkers for a Halloween party (thanks!) and then we went on over to the Ward Party. It was AWESOME! Tons of games, good food, the bishop dressed like Fred Flintstone. It was great. It was POURING rain outside!

When we got home we took some pictures of the kids in their costumes. The girls were Thing 1 and Thing 2. I tried to talk Jesse into being the Cat in the Hat but I was shot down. I sprayed their hair blue but it was fading by the times we got pictures.
The babies were wiggling so much Maddi tried to get them to sit still and they were just laughing. Andrew was being a stinker and didn't want his pictures taken. He was Buzz Lightyear. I'll work on getting a picture.

okay, first of all, Maddi's hair is SO LONG! Wasn't it just yesterday that she had that cute pixie cut? well, maybe not yesterday...
um, loading 2 babies + preschooler? and you're only there by 9? c'mon slacker. (yes, said with entire tongue-in-cheek -- I'm impressed you made it at all!)
Love the skulls.
Thing 1 & 2 ... sounds about right!
Fun!
Oh, and congratulations on completing post 1 of your month-long return to blogdom!

If I would have known that you wanted Jesse to be the Cat in the Hat, I would have totally talked him into it.
