*Uncle Steven joke alert!*

Here's Andrew clowning around.
(HA HA HA..... ha ha.....um....ahem)

Like my mom would say, " Quick like a Bunny!"

Or was it " Hop to it?"

Here are some pictures from Easter! We went to an Easter Egg Hunt the night before at my uncle Gary's house. Julie was kind enough to take Maddi around so I could snap away. Enjoy!

Julie cheering Maddi on...

On Easter morning, the kids came in to the family room, picked up the first eggs they saw, and promptly sat down and started eating chocolate. It took a little prodding to continue the hunt. Here they are with an early morning chocolate buzz...

Third Cousin Once Removed...

Tonight as we were getting ready for bed, Maddi and I were talking about her day and she said," I love Andrew so much." She told me she loved me and Daddy. She then began naming all our family members she loves. Here they are: ( and this is pretty much the order she put them in)
Cousin Ben
Cousin Emily
Sam
Annie
Greyson
Briahna
Brian
Cousin Edward
Becky
Jared
Tootsie (dog.)...(I'm not sure anyone in their right mind would name their child tootsie, but who am I to judge?)
Grandma
Grandpa
Cherilyn
The Bowling Alley
Julie
Laura
Rebecca
Cousin Rosemarie
Cousin Hyrum
Cousin Esther
Joseph
Roseanne
Nana
Papa
Spencer
Mandy
Alisha

Wait, rewind, the Bowling Alley? Who's that? I didn't know the Bowling Alley was in the family. Did someone marry the Bowling Alley and I wasn't invited to the wedding? Is there a special family discount on shoe rentals? If the Bowling Alley is in the family, then I want to talk to him (or her). Why can't there be more glow in the dark bowling? I think it's fabulous and it makes everyone look funny because the black lights accentuate the whites of their eyes and the lint on their shirts. I hope that isn't too much to ask, but we ARE family after all.

Maddism

Setting: I'm taking Maddi to preschool and Jess calls. We began having a deep dark discussion about money and how to best use our tax return and such. Maddi begins yelling from the back seat.

Maddi:
Mom! I have a secret!
Mom: (Ignores her. Not to be mean, but hey, I was in the middle of something.)
Maddi: MOOOmmmm! I have a secret!!
Mom: nothing
Maddi:Mom, mom, mom, mom I have a big secret!!!!
Mom: Maddi, shush!
Maddi: But MOM! I have a secret!
Mom: Shhhhh!!!
Maddi: MOOOOOMMMMM I want to tell you my SECRET!
Mom: Ok, what's your secret?
Maddi: I don't know...it's a secret.

Wow kid, you should work for the FBI.

Lock Her Up!

Today as I was picking Maddi up from preschool I was waiting outside with another mom. When I saw Maddi, I called to her and the mom next to me said "Are you Madalyn's mom?" I said yes and she said " My son Issac has been talking about Madalyn. He thinks she's cute." And then when the kids came out Issac called out, "Bye Maddi!"

And it begins....

Although I must admit I wasn't expecting this so soon. But I guess I shouldn't be surprised. I myself was caught kissing boys in the bushes in Kindergarten! YES! That's right! I was irresistible! Those 5 year old boys didn't know what to do with themselves! Ha Ha.

Ok back to Maddi. I asked her ( ok my intent was to tease her, but bless her heart, she didn't know that I was teasing.) about Issac and all she said was "He keeps wanting to play with me!" Ha Ha. Maddi talk to them while you can because boys get weird and think girls have cooties and then ya'll won't talk until Senior year in High School but by then, they are only interested in the Sophomore girls.

Ugh....boys....*sigh*

But to be on the safe side, I've already started looking for wedding announcements. You can't be too prepared.
"Maddi and Issac sitting in a tree, K-I-SS-I-N-G..."
WHAT!?! She doesn't know the song! sheesh...
