Gettin' Crafty
So this last year or so, I've been getting into more DIY projects ie crafts. I'm not really an innately crafty person. I just never really got into it before. But being around other people who keep doing new things and coming up with cheaper or different ways of doing things has actually been pretty empowering (as in, wow, I did that?) So I saw on a blog how to make baby leg warmers. At first I laughed at the 80's idea of it all, but I saw a little girl last winter with some on and it was adorable. It helps saves these little knees from all the carpet burn! I tried really hard to take some pictures of the girls with them on but they would NOT sit still. Especially Ellie, she is ALL OVER THE PLACE! Here's the 3 best pictures I got.

Cute! I saw something about that, too. I've been dying to try it, but I just can't bring myself to put them on Hyrum. :)
Curious, wondering if you've seen/heard about this at all. On the same blog post where I saw the DIY leg warmers, the girl also was saying how she used them on her arms. ??? Is that something people are wearing now? Cos I think it might be super handy for my girls at school...
What blog is it on? I would love to make some for my little girls. Let me know, you did such a good job on them.
Hey Net! I haven't seen the leg warmers on arms, but I can see how it would be super handy.
Hi Shannon!
Here is the tutorial I used:

Seriously, it was so easy. I bought a bunch of the knee high socks on clearance. For my babies I used Girl size ones, but for older kids I think you would want to go with Womens size. Uh did that make sense? Girl size? lol
I think those leg warmers make them want to dance! I don't know if you will ever get a picture of Ellie sitting still.
they do look like little dancers!
