Well that was weird. Anyway, back to blogging. I have made a serious mistake. Apparently I should have told you all about Maddi's butterfly. It was or is (IS! I MEANT IS) a very beautiful butterfly indeed. The kids were outside waiting to load up in the van on the way to the store and Maddi came running in pell mell trying to find the bug catcher and her butterfly net. Apparently she thought I was in charge of these things? Who knew? I was just trying to meet all her physical, spiritual needs to help her learn how to be a nice young lass that respected her elders. So when the lecture died down, and she realized that I indeed was NOT in charge of her buggy stuff (ew) she found it and ran outside. I was still trying to get bags ready, babies fed and wipe everyone's nose. I was summoned outside and this is what I saw.

It was a beautiful, beautiful butterfly, like I have never seen before. We found it in the Butterfly Tree. Coincidence? I think not.


We told Maddi and Andrew that it's family was starting to look for him so we needed to let him go. His mom was making his favorite dinner that night and he was excited to go, so we said good bye, please return. They were sad, but understood. They understood because potsickers were Maddi and Andrew favorite dinner as well.
