No Joke...

Maddi wanted to say her own prayer last night.

These are the things she's grateful for: (and in this order)

Chocolate
Jelly Beans
Andrew
Night Nights (pull-ups she wears at night, I named them)
Wake-ups (big girl underwear, she named them)

Here are the things she asked for:

That she won't have accidents in her wake-ups.
Mom can go to the store for more chocolate and Jelly beans.

And here's the kicker. When she says the prayer she likes me to repeat everything. So I had to repeat everything she said. I just couldn't get out the "going to the store one" and I started giggling.
She told me to stop.
Whoops.
I need to work on my reverence.

Snow dogs, wagons and such...

So Saturday was unseasonably warm. Jesse took the kids outside and played in the snow. They built a snowman, a snow dog, made snow angels and then went for a walk. Grandma and Grandpa gave them a wagon for Christmas and we haven't been able to use is it since the air has been so bad the last couple of weeks. It was so nice to open the windows and get some fresh air in! In one of the pictures below, Maddi is waving while she's looking at the ground because she was fascinated with her shadow! It was cracking me up because she kept dancing around and checking herself out! Too funny.

We've got to step it up!

Okay so this is old news, but over the Holidays we went bowling with my family. We were able to get bumpers and a ramp for Maddi so that all she had to do was let the ball go. So with 9 adults against one kid...well...she won! And I'm ashamed to say that I had the bumpers as well! Wow, that's sad! Here are some pictures!

De je vu?

So I'm watching TV and came across some reality tv series about Miss America. I would have kept going but they started to talk to Miss Utah so I stopped to watch. While she was talking I kept thinking whoa, she looks just like my friend Jill that I used to work with every summer at Carr printing. Then they popped her name and and it was!! It's Jill Stevens one of the biggest sweethearts I've ever met. I had seen her on the news and everything, but she does not look the same at ALL! I did not know she joined the military! And they said she served in Afghanistan So I noticed you can vote for her for this reality show or whatever, so everyone should! Here's the link: VOTE

He's a Jolly, Happy Soul....

There's a teenie little snowman that lives in our freezer! His name is Frosty, not very original but it fits. We say hello and goodbye to him every time we pass by the freezer. Here he is:
