Maddi wanted to say her own prayer last night.
These are the things she's grateful for: (and in this order)
Chocolate
Jelly Beans
Andrew
Night Nights (pull-ups she wears at night, I named them)
Wake-ups (big girl underwear, she named them)
Here are the things she asked for:
That she won't have accidents in her wake-ups.
Mom can go to the store for more chocolate and Jelly beans.
And here's the kicker. When she says the prayer she likes me to repeat everything. So I had to repeat everything she said. I just couldn't get out the "going to the store one" and I started giggling.
She told me to stop.
Whoops.
I need to work on my reverence.

You really aren't very reverent at all - for shame!
That is hilarious. What a character. I am grateful for Jelly beans and chocolate too--when are you going to the store for those?
That is HILLARIOUS! Joseph and I both LOVED it
What happened to teaching Maddi reverence? Sheesh!
That sounds about right!
Hysterical! You got told!
