So I'm watching TV and came across some reality tv series about Miss America. I would have kept going but they started to talk to Miss Utah so I stopped to watch. While she was talking I kept thinking whoa, she looks just like my friend Jill that I used to work with every summer at Carr printing. Then they popped her name and and it was!! It's Jill Stevens one of the biggest sweethearts I've ever met. I had seen her on the news and everything, but she does not look the same at ALL! I did not know she joined the military! And they said she served in Afghanistan So I noticed you can vote for her for this reality show or whatever, so everyone should! Here's the link: VOTE

Wow - you know Miss Utah!? AJ goes to school with Miss North Carolina, but he hasn't actually met her yet since she took the year off to try to be Miss America.
I love that TV show. I wasn't going to watch it but it came on after what not to wear one day and then I was hooked. Its funny to watch them try so hard to change! And we need to do something. Lunch? play date? dinner? Call me
HI!!! I can't believe you stalked me out--thank goodness for blogs!!!! Yay--I'm glad you found us. I was just thinking about what happened to everyone the other day too--you, Cassidee(geez, I don't even know if I spelled that one right anymore), Mariah and Dave (jk). I don't know about Andy, Dave is still in Utah and not married, we saw him last summer when we came out for a visit. I think he's doing ok--Brock talks to him mostly. Jess is also still in Utah and unmarried--still funny as ever though and a vet!! Shawn and Jess are in Ohio (don't know if you remember them or not), we still keep in touch with them and they even lived here in AZ for a year. We got to hang out--so fun!!
It was so fun to see your little family. I haven't seen you since your wedding reception. You have such an adorable family!!!
So what has happened over the last 7 years??? Too much--we bought a house about 4 years ago in Arizona and we're loving it. I own my own Preschool (finished my degree in Early Childhood), turned 30 a couple of weeks ago (ahhh) and Brock is a manager for a bank here in AZ. Ke'ola was just baptized last week and that is us in nutshell, so much to catch up on.
Our email is kebrokam2@msn.com--email me sometime. I can't wait to see and hear more about all that you are doing!!! Keep in touch!!!
oops!!! I mean Cassie (wow, I really am getting old!!!)
I have seen her interviewed on TV multiple times...how funny...you know her. Let's get together soon!
That is so cool! I saw something about her a few months ago on TV and she does seem like a really sweet, talented girl. I think it's cool that our Miss America candidate has actually done something good for her country! Well that is neat that you know her and I will vote for her right now. Thanks!
My mom told me about her but I didn't realize that was who she was. Crazy small world. I was thinking about Carr Printing days the other day when I heard the song that always reminds me of you....Even though I ain't got money....I just laugh every time I hear it!! Love you Lis!!
Hey, Lisa! Jill was in Shawn's unit in Afghanistan, so he served with her. That's cool that you know her!
