The kids have long been in bed and Jesse and Lisa are downstairs watching the news. Lisa had put Maddi to bed that night and told her that she may not come downstairs for any reason. Jesse decides to get a drink and goes to the kitchen.
Maddi: pssssttttt!!!!
Jesse looks around but doesn't see anyone.
Maddi: ppppsssssssttttttt!!!!!
Jesse looks up and sees Maddi peaking her head through the railing on the balcony.
Maddi whispers: Will you do me a favor and get me some food? But don't tell mom.
Yes that was verbatim.
And who does she think she's kidding? Since when does a 4 year old ask adults to do her a favor?
