Strawberry Days '10

This year we were actually able to participate in Strawberry Days! We had a ton of fun at the carnival. We took $20, bought as many tickets as we could. And then when they were gone, we went home. The kids LOVED it.

The first ride went on was the Ferris Wheel. (Please hide the glare of my legs from your eyes.)
Here's a picture of the kid that threw up and had to get off. Sad.....
( ....but totally gross for the guy below him that he threw up on.)
The kids lovvvveeed the train!
Emmy and Ellie had soooooo much fun. Can you tell?

Ellie always had the same kind of look: " What are we doing here?"

"Hi, I'm cute. No matter where we are."
Merry Go Round!

And finally, checking out the Fire House and the Fire Engines were way fun.

We can't wait to do Strawberry Days again next year!!!!

Easter v 2.0

Later Easter Sunday we went over to my Grandma Bushman's house in Provo. We had dinner together and then set up a Easter Egg Hunt in the basement.
Here is Ellie showing off her two new teeth
Awwww.....
They put all the fun people in the front room
The kids were BURSTING to get in!

Not sure who my mom is talking to, but Andrew REALLY wants to show her his eggs.

Andrew was very pleased with himself.

Easter

This last Easter we had Becky and Jared's family staying with us. We had so much fun! We stayed up late the night before getting everything ready for the next day's dinner.

Here are the kids Baskets the Easter Bunny left them. Edward had a Buzz Lightyear lunchbox! It was cool. The kids had chocolate bunnies, while the babies had formula. It was very insightful of the Easter Bunny.

Here is what the living room looking like before we let the kids in.
Man he can eat a lot of sugar in the early morning.

Andrew got a Dinaco Lightening McQueen. It was the coolest.
Maddi loved her bunny. She also is holding her Sally car. She said she wanted her own car, but wanted a girl one.

We we all are sitting down to the bestest dinner ever! Glazed ham, funeral potatoes, asparagus, deviled eggs, and homemade rolls. I'm drooling just thinking about it.

Throwback to March

Side note- You're going to be seeing some REALLY old pictures. We're talking almost a whole year's worth of holidays.

Can you tell what holiday this is?
We had a lot of GREEN that day. We had green pancakes for breakfast. And then for dinner we had Corned Beef (new recipe this year-DELICIOUS!) potatoes, carrots, cabbage and rolls. It was VERY good. And of course, Lime Kool-aid.

For some background info. Last year Maddi came home from Kindergarten and sat by the window for at least a half an hour until I asked her what she was doing. She said she was waiting for the Leprechauns to come. I asked her what she meant and she said if you were a good girl, the leprechauns would come leave you some gold on your doorstep with a treat. I asked her where she heard that and she was like "uh, everyone knows that?" She was so convinced they were going to be coming and waited for SO long for them to come. I finally called Jesse, who was on his way home, and asked him if he could uh "talk to some leprechauns and see if they were coming, wink wink" a short time later they showed up on the doorstep with a pot of gold and two treats.
The Leprechauns remembered to come this year too:
This is what happens when you ask your son to get his own pjs on and he finds the only pair that is WAY to small.

Gold Coins, green jelly beans, and Sugar cookie mix! Leprechauns rock!

Well, he's got this..

Here ya go Net. No funny pictures of me or the fam, but of COURSE there's one of William Shatner!
(see post below if you are utterly confused)

No Pictures :(

So my laptop crashed. I feel blind. Jesse is trying to fix it right now so I'm using his laptop while he is staring at me. I think he's afraid that I'll crash this one. Let me check. Yep, still staring. So no post today. Well, I guess THIS is a post, but no funny pictures of the kiddos. Hopefully tomorrow.
Night!
