Yep.
A Date.
Me.
I went on one.
With my Husband.
I had forgotten what he looked like without a child attached to him.
It all started when my sister Cherilyn called and said she and Julie could come and watch the kiddos so we could go out for Valentine's Day. We went the weekend before to avoid the craziness that is Utah Valley on that night. Jesse had received a Bombay House gift card for Christmas, so we decided to go there. One of our all time favorite restaurants ever. I'm drooling just thinking about it. I took my sweet time getting ready and we had a very nice relaxing dinner- sans kids. I even ordered a drink....
sigh......
YUM YUM YUM
We ate and ate and ate. Then we devoured. And then we groaned. And then we ate some more. Divine. I WILL crack their code one day. I'm working on it.
Good times were had by all. And then we went to Sam's Club on the way home. It was soooo romantic.
Did I mention it was without kids.
Cause it was....
ps. Here's the cuteness that was going on while we were gone.

Oh, that’s the gift card we gave Jesse for his birthday. Dang that food looks good! Glad you guys had a good time. Check out the post about the Valentine’s Day Cookies we made that night.
I had forgotten about that wonderful restaurant. Thank you for giving me yet another place to crave form Utah! I'm glad you got a night out!! Sam's Club makes the best dates!!
We did the same thing (going early). Isn't it weird to be somewhere without kids? It's like you don't even know what to do with yourselves!
I LOOOVE Bombay House! Great choice.
Cory still won't let me live it down with how spicy I got the food the first time we went there. Glad you got a date night! I'm hoping to arrange one for Cory's bday next week.
Yahoo for your date! I bet it was the best!! yahoo for amazing sisters too who make that possible!!!
Isn't that lipstick the best ever! We had a great time and I'm glad you did too.
Now we know where to go in Utah Valley, besides In-N-Out. Hey - tag you're it! Go to our blog to find out what that's all about. I hope it involves twins.
