Ok...Just in case you didn't know, I do not have caller ID on my home phone. So when the phone rings, I have NOOO idea who's calling! Old fashioned I know. The reason I say this, is so you know that when you call, and the only word you say is "Hi", you have to understand, I have NO idea who you are! You would think I could recognize everyone's "hi's" by now, but that word is too short and it's usually too loud in here for me to hear you. That and the cell phones people call on aren't usually crystal clear. So no offense when I just sit there trying to place your "hi". What I have to do is just play along and talk to you until I hear more words so I can figure out who it is. This can really get me into trouble some times. But I figure, if you don't tell me who it is, and I mistake you for someone else, it just comes with the territory and now we're both even. HA! So I love to hear your lovely voice, I just like to know who I'm talking to ;)

Agreed! Also annoying, "Hey it's me." I hate it when people call with the expectation that they are so important you should just know who they are from 1-3 words.

I totally agree! I have some friends that call me at work in between my hundreds of other calls and just expect me to know who it is. Not cool. What is the point of trying to make the person YOU called feel stupid? I even identify myself to my mother!!!
Mark got into trouble while we were engaged when he assumed he was talking to me, when it was really my diabolical little sister who let him keep on thinking that until the conversation got way too racy. Haha.
