Maddism

Setting: I'm taking Maddi to preschool and Jess calls. We began having a deep dark discussion about money and how to best use our tax return and such. Maddi begins yelling from the back seat.

Maddi: Mom! I have a secret!
Mom: (Ignores her. Not to be mean, but hey, I was in the middle of something.)
Maddi: MOOOmmmm! I have a secret!!
Mom: nothing
Maddi:Mom, mom, mom, mom I have a big secret!!!!
Mom: Maddi, shush!
Maddi: But MOM! I have a secret!
Mom: Shhhhh!!!
Maddi: MOOOOOMMMMM I want to tell you my SECRET!
Mom: Ok, what's your secret?
Maddi: I don't know...it's a secret.

Wow kid, you should work for the FBI.

Maybe she knew you were having a serious discussion and she thought it might be about her so she had to create a distration. The kid is smart! By the way, that is one of my favorite pictures!
