Sorry all you out of Towners....

Another week survived! We were just DREADING last week to come! Jesse had been gearing up for the USANA convention that went from Wed to Sat. He was going to be gone from 7-7 everyday and probably later. That was also the same week my friend Jeanette was here from Texas and my sister in law Roseanne would be here also. So here's how it ran down

Mon-My Birthday! The fam came down and we went to Goodwood BBQ, mmmmmm bbq....We also went out on a limb this year and Rebecca and I got Coldstone Icecream cake. It was yummy!

Tues- Lunch at the park with Kim and Celiece and the kids!

Wed-Hang out with Roseanne and company all day.We went to Brick Oven! yay! Jesse stayed in Bountiful with my parents.
Thurs-Drive up to Bountiful (man I hate packing alone) Go to dinner with Jeanette and Sarah! It was so fun! Jeanette brought her girls earlier in the day to hang out and Maddi met her twin-Andrea. She and Andrea are just a like!! Trying to get this picture was torture! I think Lacie is in there somewhere. I think I see her pink shoes.

Fri-Lunch with Kelly at Mi La Cai. She then came over and retrieved the kids and visited Barbra at Bountiful High. Later that night I went to dinner with the WXHS reunion planning committee. It was fun! I hadn't been to Robintino's for years!

I drove home that night with the kids. Jesse left to drive home because our renters called and needed somethings done to the house. Poor Jess was exhausted!
Saturday the kids and I had Dinner at Becky and Jared's house. It was fun!
On Sunday we sat and stared at each other...all day...yes, very boring....
So that was our week! Just so you all know, next year we will be doing NOTHING the week prior and the week during the USANA conference. Sorry all you out of towners, it's just the way it has to be...

Busy Busy

So who knew that August was still busy, even when you're not working in Financial Aid? We're very busy getting the PG house (or PJ's house as Maddi calls it) ready for our renters to move into tomorrow. Jesse is building a shed to store all the yard things in and I've been clearing the yard and cleaning the house. Hopefully we get it down tonight because they're moving in tomorrow!

We been able to do a few fun things. We went up to the canyon with Spencer, Alisha, Jared and Mandy. We made tin foil dinners, it was fun!

We also went up to Bountiful for my Ten year High School reunion. A lot of planning went into it, but we were happy how it turned out! I helped mostly with the park event, but we had such a great time at the dinner that night at The Crimson Room at the U. Here's some pictures!

A whole lotta canoe-n'

We survived the week! Yeah! We had a GREAT time in Wyoming. It was beautiful. We went to the Uintah Youth Camp. I thought it would be a lot more primitive, but we had a very comfortable cabin with bunk beds and electricity. We were also right by the bathrooms. Score! Flushing toilets and showers are always a plus. Especially where Madalyn is concerned as flushing is her favorite part. There was a lodge with a kitchen and fireplace. And right outside the lodge, ta-da! a playground. A complete must have when you've got the young-uns. We went four wheeling, canoeing, and bottle launching. Way fun. We also played Nerts for a heart stopping hour or so. I've never seen Mom and Dad get so excited. Dad how's your heart doing? Anyway here's some pictures.

Just checking in...

I'm just leaving a note to say we are still alive. We came home from the Bushman reunion on yesterday. We had fun and learned that Mount Pleasant is really not that far away and that the Skyline Motel in Fairview was only sort of remodeled, not all the way remodeled. But it wasn't too bad. The reunion was fun Maddi made a toy horse. She named it "Nay" It had one red eye and one white eye and she wanted it to have mismatched nostrils. She's funny. I would post a picture but she's asleep with it right now. We even made it to the Wal-mart at midnight to get Harry Potter. It was SO crazy!! There were hundreds of people there. I thought it would be lowkey since we were in Ephraim, but I was wrong. And man we saw some crazies. But I guess we were there too so I can't say too much.
We're getting ready tonight to go to Wyoming tomorrow for the Bradford family reunion. It's crazy time right now! Maybe one day I'll unpack.

Vampire in the Family?

At first I was really concerned about Andrew's teeth coming in this way. I thought maybe his front teeth were really far apart and flashes of surgery went through my mind. But apparently the Dr said this happens quite frequently, about 1 in every 30 kids. His front teeth are now coming in. I've never seen this before but whatever. Here's a picture:
Also Nana and Papa had a little tent here at the house that Maddi thinks is her "Clubhouse" She wanted Andrew to hangout with her inside and when I asked her why she put the blanket on her head, she said she was a pirate. She even said "arrrr"..... I have an odd daughter.
